UV printing is a relatively new way of digital printing.
The main difference between UV printing and other methods is that in order to dry the inks applied to the surface, ultraviolet radiation is used, which causes instant drying.
UV printing differs from conventional printing technology in many ways.
Of course, this technology, like any other, is the application of ink to the surface of a material, but its difference is that the production of an image is much better than in other printing methods.
In addition, unlike methods where the ink solvent evaporates in the air and is absorbed into the paper, UV ink dries due to exposure to UV radiation, which makes the image much more resistant to external influences, also a wider color gamut, more saturated colors and , most importantly, the image is applied to any surface.
Under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, special ink turns into a solid state and, without being absorbed, adheres tightly to the base.
Such a print does not fade, does not peel off, does not erase (washed off exclusively with a solvent).
The UV printing method is considered especially popular in the manufacture of souvenirs, printing on leather, plywood, plastic, printing on metal, glass, stone, it is also used in the manufacture of banners, when printing on self-adhesive oracal film, and of course on design paper.
